Description

The BIOS company has always stood for the highest quality and competent employees. We have always specialized in corporate customers in order to be able to respond better to individual needs. In the following we would like to provide you with some historical data:

In 1996 the company BIOS Alexander ERNST OEG was founded. As one of the few SCO ACE (Advanced Certified Engineer) Mr. Ing. Ernst provided second-level support for SCO dealers. As an Internet provider, we started with ISDN leased lines and ISDN dial-up connections.

In 1997 we implemented our first dedicated copper lines. We have also been certified as a "Cisco Premier Partner".

In 1999 we created the first website for McDonalds Austria. This was created in the (at that time) new technology "Flash".

In 2000 , all of our nodes were converted to fiber optic connections. Furthermore, we have connected to the VIX (Vienna Internet Exchange) with our own connection.

In 2001 the company BIOS Alexander ERNST OEG was transformed into the company BIOS Internet Handels- und Dienstleis- tungs Ges.mbH.

In 2004 , the sale of hardware for the network sector is pushed.

In 2005 we included the DSL product range in our program.

In 2007 , the company moved to the new company location at Perfectastrasse 19 in the 23rd district of Vienna. At the same time, a co-location for server housing and other services was set up at the company site.

In 2009 there was a multitude of new services such as VoIP and the possibility of wholesale sales was opened up.

In 2010 , the first fiber optic connections were put into operation directly at the customer.

Many of our customers have been looked after for years and have experienced many technologies with us. Thanks to these long-standing customer relationships, we can look successfully into the future!
