HostiX was born in 1997 with the COM-IT.NET brand (www.com-it.net). In 2004 the name was changed and became HostiX. In recent years we have invested heavily in quality and customer care. Many years of experience are the best way to give continuity to an ever-evolving service that has become indispensable for everyone.

HostiX is particularly appreciated for the direct contact it offers with the customer. No call-centers and long waits. Technical support is easily accessible and solves problems instead of making excuses.

The infrastructure
Network : HostiX manages proprietary servers installed in primary Italian web farms and close to Italian interconnection points (MIX, TIX and the GARR network).

Server : HostiX manages its servers from A to Z. We do not rent servers from Italian nor foreign webfarms. Our technicians are the only ones to carry out maintenance and to carry out a scheduled hardware replacement. The servers, the disks, and everything else that is inside the webfarm has a continuous turnover so as to never reach the end of life.

Redundancy : But the best network conditions are not sufficient to guarantee the functioning of internet services. Therefore, all our infrastructure is completely redone. High availability servers are used for all services. In the event of a malfunction, the transfer of services to another server is automatic.

SLA (Service Level Agreement) : For customers who request it, we can provide contracts with an established guarantee of operation and with penalties in case of malfunctions. In this way you have the maximum protection to offer even to the most important customers.
