Hostloco was taken over on December 1, 2014 by the cloud hosting specialist dogado. Everything stays as usual for you: First-class service with an expanded portfolio of innovative hosting products!======
Hostloco.com was founded in 2003 by John Thomas and Florian fresh with the aim to provide reliable and professional hosting solutions with the best services to customers around the world.
When choosing the location Tenerife (Spain) as a corporate headquarters are also incorporated not only financial aspects, but especially the motivational factor: new colleagues were able to dedicate this light-hearted and fun with work.
Safe Technology
As a location for our data center we have always been the foundation set to Germany. Motivated and competent partner to take care of data center operations, while we could concentrate fully on Spain in the development of new products and customer service.
Our customers
Today serves more than 10,000 Hostloco business and residential customers throughout the world. Hostloco.com wurde im Jahr 2003 durch Florian Frisch und Thomas John mit dem Ziel gegründet, sichere und professionelle Hostinglösungen mit bestmöglichem Service für Kunden aus aller Welt anzubieten.
Bei der Wahl des Standorts Teneriffa (Spanien) als Firmensitz sind so auch nicht nur finanzielle Aspekte eingeflossen, sondern insbesondere auch der Motivations-Faktor: Neue Kollegen konnten sich hier unbeschwert und mit Spaß der Arbeit widmen.
Sichere Technik
Als Standort für unsere Rechenzentren haben wir seit der Gründung stets auf Deutschland gesetzt. Motivierte und kompetente Partner übernehmen die Betreuung des Rechenzentrums-Betriebs, während wir uns in Spanien voll auf die Entwicklung neuer Produkte und den Kundenservice konzentrieren konnten.
Unsere Kunden
Heute betreut Hostloco mehr als 10.000 Geschäfts- und Privatkunden aus aller Welt. Neben etablierten Online-Shops und Communities gehören auch Parteien, Vereine und zahlreiche Privatpersonen zu unseren zufriedenen Kunden. Anfang 2011 haben wir nun unserer Nähe zum Kunden nochmals Rechnung getragen. Mit unserer Büro-Eröffnung in Berlin werden wir künftig noch näher am Kunden sein, nicht nur wörtlich. Für die Zukunft sind selbstverständlich weitere Innovationen geplant. Hierzu gehouml;rt neben der Einführung neuer Funktionen auch die Organisation unregelmäßiger Workshops und Seminarreihen für unsere Kunden.
Energiesparend und nachhaltig
Nicht erst seit dem tragischen Unglück in Japan setzt Hostloco auf energiesparende Technik. So haben wir bereits vor mehreren Jahren alle Systeme virtualisiert und durch effiziente Ressourcennutzung den Stromverbrauch in unseren Rechenzentren drastisch reduziert. Mit der Einführung unserer neuen Infrastruktur im Jahr 2011 werden wir unsere eigenen hohen Einsparziele nochmals übertreffen.
Neben der Einsparung wertvoller Energie ist auch der sonstige Betrieb bei uns voll und ganz auf Nachhaltigkeit ausgerichtet. Neben dem Verzicht auf unnötige Papierrechnungen werden bei uns alle Dokumente möglichst rein elektronisch erstellt. Überflüssige Ausdrucke entfallen und die Umwelt wird entlastet. Auch die Wahl unseres Bürogebäudes erfolgte unter anderem unter ökologischen Gesichtspunkten: Wir nutzen Büros im Business Alliance Center Berlin, in denen wir allgemeine Räumlichkeiten wie Küche, Besprechungsräume oder Flure gemeinschaftlich mit anderen Unternehmen nutzen. So sparen wir Energie für Heizung und Beleuchtung für die Zeit, in der wir diese Rämlichkeiten nicht nutzen.
Soziales Engagement
Selbstverständlich steht seit der Gründung auch das soziale Engagement bei Hostloco im Fokus. So unterstützen wir regelmäßig Sportvereine, humanitäre Projekte und Non-Government-Organisationen aus aller Wet mit kostenlosen Hostinglösungen und Spenden. Im Fokus stehen dabei Projekte, die sich in besonderem Maßße für humatitäre Hilfe einsetzen. Die Auswahl dieser Projekte erfolgt regelmäßig unter Einbeziehung aller Kolleginnen und Kollegen, damit sich das gesamte Team mit diesen Projekten identifizieren kann.
