Clustering, Clustering, and More Clustering - Our mail, web, and database servers are all clustered, whereas most hosting companies do not even run clusters and have only one machine which hosts their customer's website. A cluster is basically a group of server machines that works together.
Our clusters go over 100+ servers. In a cluster, the stability of your web site is no longer dependent on one server. Instead, if one or ten servers go down, your web site is still up because any of the other remaining servers in the cluster are still up to respond.
Addressing Data Loss: A company can not function without its data. We have heard customers tell us how their previous web hosting provider had all their web pages on one server machine, and hard drive failure on that server caused all customer data to be lost. That hosting provider did not even have a backup copy to restore from. In a HostSite clustered environment, this scenario would never have happened. Hard drive failure on one or even several machines would literally have no effect on downtime or data loss because your uptime and data here is not dependent on one machine.

We never let any server utilization go past 40% optimum server resources at peak hours.
Our solution is simple. As server loads go up, we simply add more servers to the chain to spread out the load. You will notice that the end result is that your websites
are always served up blazing fast regardless of how much traffic you throw at it.
