"IMENA.BG" JSC was founded with the primary objective of advancing the Bulgarian internet landscape, internet technologies, promoting internet domains in the .bg and .bg domains, and nurturing young professionals in the field.The company successfully applied to ICANN (IANA) for the registry of the new internet domain .bg and was granted the rights to manage this domain on 06/03/2016 (Bulgarian time).
"IMENA.BG" JSC is engaged in scientific research and know-how in computer networks and internet technologies, fostering the development of the Bulgarian internet space, educating and promoting internet technologies, registering and maintaining internet domains, and other lawful activities.
The shareholders of "IMENA.BG" AD comprise a diverse group of specialists from scientific, educational, cultural, and engineering-technical backgrounds.
The core mission of "IMENA.BG" AD is to promote the development of the Bulgarian internet space, internet technologies, and internet domain registration, as well as to train and support young professionals in the field. Following the delegation of the .bg domain string, the company will oversee all activities related to managing this domain.
