LocalHost AS are specialists in IT operations and IT infrastructure. We must be the best at understanding the customer, and we have a strong focus on customer service with quality at all stages. These are important values that everyone in the company works hard to live up to.We were founded in 2007 and currently have 29 skilled employees. From the start, LocalHost has had a vision to make IT simple, safe and environmentally friendly.
Our customers consist of everything from small sole proprietorships to large multi-billion dollar corporations. The customers themselves choose the extent to which LocalHost will be involved in the operation. Some want us to take care of all IT operations, while others rent secure space from us and remotely operate the systems themselves. LocalHost is for everyone.
LocalHost is certified in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These certifications are systems for quality and environmental management that contribute to better documentation of essential work processes, products and services. Continuous improvement is an important principle in our work to reduce negative effects on the environment.
After being in operation for a period of time, LocalHost saw software needs that did not exist in the market, both in ourselves and in our customers. As a result of this, in 2009 we opened our own development department. Today we have four highly skilled developers. These have, in collaboration with our customers' needs, developed everything from touch-based time registration systems to the highly advanced CRM system, Action.
Our vision is to develop environmentally friendly technology and expertise, to deliver next-generation IT solutions. LocalHost has repeatedly proven that we are the right partner for this, together with customers such as Lefdal Mine Datacenter AS, Videonor AS, Seevia AS and Nordvestvinduet AS. These are customers where we have together developed completely new products, processes and, not least, new companies.
