Tele Greenland, as the organization appointed to manage the .GL ccTLD, maintains these resources as a service to all .GL registrants and registrars.

Around March 2010 .GL started accepting Registrars for access to the .GL Registry platform, the goal was, at first, to use it as a tool for making management of existing domains easier. The Registrar program gives participants access to a CoCCA based HTTP/EPP Registry platform, running in Tele Greenlands own datacenter. It allows for fully automated registration and a more streamlined billing procedure, in addition it also voids all data modification fees (contact info/nameserver update etc.).
