Today the Data Centre is one of the greenest and innovative in Europe. It has latest evaporative cooling systems retro-fitted to give it a PUE rating of 1.14. This makes the data centre more eco-friendly and not gobble up as much energy as more traditional cooling methods.

Founded back in 1999 by teenage techie David Barker, armed with £30.00 he brought a reseller account from Fasthosts to sell web hosting along with domain names after being asked to design a few websites. As the business grew David started renting space in a data centre and you would often see him on the data floor at 2am provisioning servers.
