😞 Technical Support is horrendous ...
Been with them for about a year. Price is about average, as are their features.

Their technical support, is absolutely horrendous. They do things like update their software, and forget to put a "Side Scrollbar" on the side of the program window so you can't scroll down and click the "update" button to update your own website. Technical support gets snotty about fixing even minor matters.

Nothing but a gargantuan headache. I'd move in a heartbeat if I didn't think it would be an absolute pain to do so ...

😁 Fortune3 is awesome!
I am a fairly new client of Fortune3's, but in the few months that I have taken my online store to them my business has skyrocketed. My website is so much simpler and my hosting is so reliable that when paired with Fortune3's marketing and SEO tools, we have quadrupled our sales in just 5 months, with very little investment. Their staff is also just about the best and most helpful customer support team I have ever worked with. A highly recommended host and shopping cart!

😁 The fortune3 online shopping cart solution works seamlessly.
For little money fortune3 takes good care of everything. The software is excellent and user-friendly.
By far fortune3 offers easy and powerful software to create an online store, and to manage the ecommerce website, sales and customers. I have tried both hosted shopping carts and open source shopping carts, but when a little problem occurred either with the software or the server my online store went down: that happened to me so many times. When I was running the website on my own server I didn't have a peace of mind, even sleeping was difficult. Off course, I was both the server and the software administrator, and believe me: that job isn't easy.
I have been with fortune3 over a year and for little money they take good care of everything. The software is excellent and very user-friendly. The new fortune application for the iphone is awesome. Customer support is outstanding. If you have a real online business and you want

😁 I am very pleased with the Fortune3 ecommerce software and also with their website hosting services and customer support.
The Fortune3 shopping cart offers an efficient ecommerce website solution to sell online anything from products to services: From real products that can be customized by the customer while shopping online to photos, downloadable products, and gift certificates as well.
The PC base interface to build the online storefront is fast and easy. The product import feature through Excel is organized and so fast that creating and modifying the online store takes just a few minutes.
From the data entry to managing the online store, the Fortune3 shopping cart software is an incredible tool to run and online business seamlessly.
I think that this program can achieve results comparable to the large online shopping carts. Among hosted shopping carts Fortune3 is an excellent choice.

😃 I created a site with Fortune3 many years ago and came back to them once they made the 2010 version which is absolutely great. I think customer service is super important and I got good attention out of them (surprised by the comments here really) and i thought the search engine optimization features are A++.

A great shopping cart software product for people just starting to build ecommerce websites, really.

They have a 30 day free trial and in 30 days you really get the full experience of running an online store with their platform.

😞 I have just changed from Fortune3 to a new cart because Fortune3 stinks. Sorry to be blunt but really these people have some nerves. Bad service, lots of extra fees and their site doesn’t even work half the time! I’m a small business owner so I’m working 10-20 hours a day to get my business going to provide for my family. I went with fortune3 becuase I thought that they were a fast, reliable service but I was wrong, I think they made up all the good reviews you find on them. I need a site that’s easy to use and customer service people that actually give a damn about me and the money I’m paying to them. Fortune3 was not worth the money I was paying, they didn’t give me peace of mind or support. There customer service grantee is balony. If you’re looking to join them look around, there are better services out there.

😠 If you’re looking for a good shopping cart provider I would recommend you don’t use fortune3. I have been less than satisfied with their services. I have found my website to be offline several times and my customers have told me that they wanted to buy something from my website and it was not working, freezing up and then completly dissapering like it was never there for 1-4 hours at a time. I called them to ask about this and they told me it would be up again soon. This has been quite disruptive to my business. The service is a little bit expensive for what it offers. It seemed reasonable at first but there were some extra fees which came into effect after I joined. I don’t like paying so much for this service and will be looking for something that doesnt have so many problems and offers a 99.9 uptime.. I’m quite upset with them really. 😠 Fortune3 has disappointed me a lot. First the service is really bad. They take forever to get back to you and they always blame someone else for there problems. I called them as well but again they’ve been very rude and treated me with disdain. I think there support stuff must be badly paid or have bad managers because they are not at all friendly on the phone. What else can I say? Well my store has been down many times a month they always say that there having some trouble with their serversl. They don’t know why and they’ve told me time and time again that they’re looking into this issue, only for it to a-ppen again. The most frustrating thing is my store being donw but also the hidden fees. Each month it’s like a new cost crops up. I should have read the small print I suppose but I cannot stand a site which is not transparent about it’s chargers and cheats customers like this. 😠 Fortune3 cart is Terrible! I liked this service at first, but after signing up I found out that there were hidden fees. A huge percentage of my sales went to fortune3 which is not really advertised on their site. I spent days, weeks, lot of time adding products so I ended up staying with them.

For a year now my husband and I have had a lot of trouble getting the cart to work right, the website is down just about every day and I am not kidding! Because the shopping cart is hosted on Fortune3.com servers (not optional) you have no choice but to deal with it. Their Support is terrible. When I’ve tried to let them know about problems on the cart or when the web store is down they are very blunt and just darn RUDE! As a small company my husband and I have complained numerous times and they just don't care, they tell us that we just have to be patient and deal with it. 😁 I have my ecommerce website being hosted with fortune3 for over 6 years to sell products online. I've neither noticed their servers being down or the speed being slow. I hired fortune3 because they offered me their shopping cart software and ecommerce solution along with their web hosting and site monitoring services for one single price. If you want to open an online store with a shopping cart system fortune3 is an excellent choice not only because of great hosting, but also because their software and customer service is outstanding. They also monitor the performance of both the hosting and the software.
Before I hired fortune3 I had another web hosting service that I used for running the online store by myself with software that I purchased outside. I must say that I had to invest a lot of time to maintain my online store up and running, not because the hosting company was bad, but because the shopping cart software needs to connect with multiple servers outside in order to make [read more...]
