😁 Francisco, your plan needs warrant a dedicated server. Shut up and stop being a cheep bastard. Using those resources will just drag the server down to a slug for everyone. I am not affiliated with mega hosters but am a person in the industry. Just go elsewhere, I am sure they don't want to listen to douche bags like you anyway. Go to host gator or something, they will just shut you down before even talking to you if your site uses too much resources.

😠 I am on the Mega Plan 1 and at first the plan was great. My site started growing and I contacted them about new plans upgrades which they told me were in the works. 1gb space 40gb bandwidth was pathetic and the upgrades were ridiculously priced. I contacted them again today and this is what I got as a response.
"we aren't planning on redoing pricing/packages. Your site specifically needed more space when we wrote you. Quite honestly the amount of processing power required to convert your mp3's is fairly significant, so our pricing wouldn't be changing. We certainly understand if you feel you can get a better deal elsewhere - we don't compete just on price. "
They should of told me this from the get go so I could of moved on!

Mega Hosters switched network utilizes the Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGP4) over Cisco 12000 series GSR routers. We always update the router's IOS after we have stress tested the latest IOS on a non-critical router, to make sure it is very stable. The switch that your equipment will ultimately be connected to is connected back to a core router via fiber.
